Ladies Guild

St. Anne's Parish Ladies' Guild welcomes woman of all ages to participate in focusing on spiritual renewal as well as social participation within the parish.  Members of the Guild are women who enjoy each others company while contributing to the strength of St. Anne's Parish.

The Guild's activities include social and spiritual afternoons and evenings: Our Harvest Tea, presented each year in the fall, delights the invited community with a speaker, musical selections and spiritual insights and ends with a delightful tea.  This tea recipe is the same one used at the first tea given by Constance Cooper over 40 years ago.  The tea continues to be a fund raising event in order to sponsor a scholarship for a Catholic student.  The Constance Cooper/Janet Spring Scholarship has been a tremendous success.

St. Anne's Guild presents "Come to the Manger" in November.  This event is a beautiful display of mangers and nativities from St. Anne's Parish as well as the community of Florence.  Many members from community churches take delight in sharing their mangers or nativities to be placed on exhibit, with members of St. Anne's as a gift to the community at the beginning of the Advent Season.

The Guild holds a business meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm.  On the 4th Wednesday of each month, an additional meeting is held at 7:00pm which features a guest speaker, a craft or "fun" activity or just a social dinner with some good fellowship.
